Marilyn Pounder
Jewelry
A variety of artistic talents come together in Marilyn’s necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
A lifelong artist, Marilyn has studied drawing, painting, calligraphy, design, pottery, weaving and silversmithing. She started working with polymer clay in the early 1990s, and by 2000 was incorporating elements of it in her jewelry.
“I enjoy making pieces that combine creative combinations of color and texture,” Marilyn says. “it’s as much of a pleasure to me as it is to the people who wear it. It takes time, but it’s as close to instant gratification as I can find in art.”
