Helen’s passion for that combination shines through in the bold, rich color and adventurous texture of her impressionistic style.
Layers of colorful thick paint and gestural lines dominate her paintings of landscapes, florals, still lifes, portraiture and structures.
Helen’s painting method employs the use of both brush and palette knife in the mediums of oil and acrylic paints.
At an early age she studied with notable artists in Lancaster County, later going on to graduate summa cum laude with a BFA degree from Kutztown University.
This award winning artist continues to hone her skills under the tutelage of master artists, sharing her ever evolving skills by holding painting workshops and giving private art instrucuions.
Reinhold is equally comfortable painting En Plein Air as well as in her studio in Reinholds, PA. Helen is a member of Art Plus Gallery and Berks Art Alliance.
Besides exhibiting at Art Plus Gallery, Reinhold shows her work at art festivals, museum juried shows, and plein air events.
Also helping to keep Helen’s appreciation for beauty and authenticity sharp has been her work as a respected expert in installing upholstery for antique automobiles and fine furniture.
