Gloria Powell
Oil Painter
Since a young age, Gloria has been drawn to the natural landscapes around her, attentive to the quiet messengers that arrive before her canvas. Today she works principally with oil, painting from her home studio as well as en plein air. She has studied with Helen Reinhold Gordon, Georganna Lenssen, and Marilyn Fox.
Gloria is a member and board member of Art Plus Gallery as well as Vice President of Berks Art Alliance (BAA). She has served as chair of the BAA 2022 Member Show at Yocum Institute and chair of the BAA 2023 Juried Show.
