MISSION & STRUCTURE
Art Plus Gallery is a non-profit artist cooperative, limited by charter to a maximum of 25 members. Since our founding in 1999, the gallery’s two-pronged mission has been to:
Our member artists each display several pieces of their work in each 2-month show in the main gallery. The gallery also presents a new featured exhibit each month, in a schedule shared by members, guest artists, and community groups through our ArtReach program.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to outreach, we are funded by:
There are no paid members or employees. The time required to operate and maintain the gallery, as well as to plan and stage gallery programs and activities, is given freely by the members and volunteers from the community.
- give juried, local artists of varied art media support for displaying, marketing and selling their artwork; and
- promote art awareness, appreciation and participation throughout the Berks County community in general, and among K-12 students in particular.

- monthly dues of our members
- artwork sales: members donate 25% of their gallery sales back to the cooperative
- grants & donations
- fundraising activities
- annual dues from the Friends of Art Plus Gallery
