MARY ANN MENGEL
PAINTER

Mary Ann’s lifelong interest in visual art was cultivated throughout her professional career in graphic design, photography, web design and instructional multimedia design. Recently transitioning to a full-time oil painter, her creativity emerged in a gift for figurative painting--directly, implied or symbolic—with an emphasis on the interplay of figures with their environment. 
She began showing her work in 2022, and the art world immediately showed its appreciation. Since then, she has earned awards from Scenes of the Schuylkill, Allied Artists of Schuylkill County, Studio B and the Keystone Fine Art Juried Competition. 
Mary Ann is a member of Art Plus Gallery, Hamburg Area Arts Alliance, Berks Art Alliance, Allied Artists of Schuylkill County and Studio B Art Gallery in Boyertown.
