Tips to rename and resize photos
These tasks are most easily accomplished by downloading and editing on a laptop, desktop and many tablet computers using photo editing software. Both Windows and Macs have built-in utilities that can accomplish these tasks. Editing tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Affinity Photo, and The GIMP may also be used.

Rename Photos can be done using the built-in “Files” app
Resize and rename can both be accomplished using Adobe Express, Adobe Lightroom or Snapseed (Free from Google in the Play Store, massive June 2025 update coming soon.)
NOTE: Many online resizing apps, including Adobe Express will not process files over 10 MB.
NOTE 2: Some newer Pro level Mobile devices (iPhones and Google Pixels) allow creation of 50 megapixel images that considerably exceed size limitations. If you need captures at that level for reproduction purposes, consider changing settings and recapturing at lower settings like 12MP.
