"What is it that forces us to create visual images? For me, it's the only thing I can do to make myself feel whole,” explains Fran. “So I use paint, mainly watercolors, but sometimes acrylic and recently, alcohol inks to express my feelings for the beauty that nature provides. I love color and never tire of mixing it to create new colors, layering it, or just playing with it.”
Look around the Berks art scene and you'll likely find Fran sharing her time and talent. She's a frequent exhibitor in juried shows, current president of the Berks Art Alliance, and passionate teacher of watercolor workshops at Goggleworks, where she keeps her studio.
