MARTHA RESSLER
Director
As our director since 2019, Martha keeps a hand on the pulse of all of the gallery’s activities, and plays a major role in coordinating PAWR volunteers and housing for visiting artists. Fabric Artist, member since 2014.

RUSSELL SLOCUM
Co-director
Russ spearheads the gallery’s business planning, marketing, annual Plein Air West Reading competition, outside showcase development and many of our special projects. Landscape artist, member since 2014, Co-director since 2015.

JAY RESSLER
Treasurer
Jay manages all of the gallery’s financial activities as well as our operational technologies, and has a hand in most of our renovations. Photographer & painter, member since 2014, past president of the Berks Art Alliance.

REBECCA CARPENTER
Recording Secretary
Rebecca documents the discussions and decisions of our monthly board meetings and shares the minutes with all of the members. She also manages the gallery’s Outside Showcase program. Juried into Art Plus for mixed-media collages and photography, widely recognized for her images of graceful figures in rugged and abandoned spaces.

MARIE STALNECKER
West Reading Liaison
Marie keeps the gallery on top of constant goings-on around town and coordinates our selective participation. Fused glass artist, member since 2022.

GLORIA POWELL
Member at Large
Gloria manages the gallery's purchasing and is frequently involved in on-going programs. Oil painter, member since 2023, also current Vice President of the Berks Art Alliance.

LIBBY CERULLO
Member at Large
As our Social Media Director, Libby keeps thousands of Art Plus followers up to date on the activities of the gallery as well as our 25 individual member artists. Fabric artist, member since 2023.

ANNA SCHWEIGERT
Member at Large
Anna’s spiritual connection to her art shines through printmaking that revolves around the body, nature, pattern and geometry and discarded materials. Anna also manages the gallery’s Featured Exhibit program and scheduling.
